Established in 1974.

Electronic Component Sales Inc. (ECS) was founded on the belief that providing our OEM customers, distributors and principals with “above and beyond” service was needed to be a successful manufacturer’s representative.  More than four decades later, that belief remains unchanged.

ECS is a family owned and operated company with an experienced staff of knowledgeable and passionate sales professionals.  Our sole mission is to create demand for our principals’ products and to ensure our OEM customers and distributors profit from our services.  We accomplish this mission through hard work, an in-depth understanding of the market and through valued relationships with all of our business partners.  ECS is a proven, highly successful sales representative organization with an unequalled dedication to our profession.  We encourage you to contact one of our team members and we look forward to working with you!

History:

  • 1974 - ECS established in Portland, Oregon
  • 1978 - Corporate headquarters moved to Seattle, Washington
  • 1980 - ECS Became members of the Electronic Representatives Association (ERA)
  • 1980 - Moved Corporate Headquarters to Mercer Island, Washington
  • 1991 - Chris Wooldridge became first woman to become Local ERA President
  • 1997 - Acquired Principals from SPS Electronics
  • 1998 - Moved Corporate Headquarters to Issaquah, Washington
  • 1999 - Acquired NW Electronics
  • 2002 - Acquired Quest Marketing
  • 2009 - Gary Wooldridge CPMR Cerified 
  • 2010 - Moved Corporate Headquarters to Sammamish, Washington
  • 2012 - Brad Wooldridge CPMR Certified
  • 2017 -Moved Corporate office Back to Issaquah, Washington
